Danielle Gray is a dedicated social worker, community advocate, and mentor with nearly

two decades of experience in case management, patient advocacy, and community-

based services. A proud member of the New Orleans Association of Black Social

Workers since 2024, Danielle is committed to advancing social justice, empowering

underserved populations, and strengthening community partnerships throughout the

Greater New Orleans area.

Danielle earned her Master of Social Work from Southern University at New

Orleans and has worked in the fields of case management and community advocacy

since 2007. Her professional experience includes serving with University Medical

Center New Orleans as a Patient Advocate in HIV services and as a Medical Case

Manager, where she supported individuals and families in accessing quality healthcare,

resources, and supportive services.

Throughout her career, Danielle has remained deeply engaged in community service

and mentorship initiatives. She currently collaborates with organizations including Urban

League of Louisiana, Parent Advocacy groups, and volunteers with New Orleans

Women & Children's Shelter. She also serves as a Guardian Mentor with Son of a Saint,

supporting and guiding young boys through mentorship and life-skills development.

In addition, Danielle is involved in reentry support services through On the Right Path

and holds a leadership role within the Southern University at New Orleans Alumni

Association. Her passion for advocacy, mentorship, and community empowerment

continues to drive her work as she strives to create meaningful change and expand

opportunities for individuals and families across her community.
